What Services do we provide?
The Prothonotary’s Office is the chief filing office for the Court of Common Pleas of Lebanon County in civil, family, protection from abuse, judgment and lien matters. Our office is open to the public in order to conduct searches and any file may be viewed unless it has been impounded by the court. Passports are done by appointment only. Passport appointment hours are Tuesday-Friday 8:45am-3:45pm.
The Prothonotary's Office now accepts credits cards [Visa, Mastercard, Discover]
There is a $1.00 fee for any charges up to $33.00; anything over $33.00 is a 3% fee.
*Escrow account payments such as special master, landlord/tenant, Guardian Ad Litem, and bail cannot be paid by card.*
*Passport payments to the U.S. Department of State must be paid by check or money order only.*
