Lebanon County Probation Services is comprised of three primary units: Adult, Juvenile, and Collections & Disbursement.

Probation Services

Community Education Classes: The Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 offers FREE online classes in English, Citizen Test Prep, GED/HSE Test Prep and more.  To learn more, click here or visit the IU13 web site.

South Central PA Re-entry Program at the PA CareerLink. The program is designed to help reentrants address and break down barriers that may ultimately impede them from advancing in a career or education. Help is provided in many ways such as training for in-demand occupations, supportive services such as transportation and work attire, job matching with local employers, and more.  There are two programs - one for those over 24 years old and one for those 18 - 24 years of age.

Honest Jobs is the nation's largest employment network for people with criminal records. They are currently recruiting for employers in Pennsylvania that actively hire people with misdemeanor and felony records.  For more information you may visit their website or view the flyer here.

Adult Probation

The Adult Administrative Unit is responsible for completing Presentence Investigation Reports for the Court, Pre-Parole Investigations for Offenders eligible for County Parole, and Special State Probation paperwork. The Unit also reports sentencing information to the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing.

Lebanon County intakes and Inter-County transfer cases are processed by this unit. This Unit is also responsible for reviewing Inter-State transfer cases, and if eligible, those cases are transferred through the Interstate Commission of Adult Offender Supervision (ICOTS).

Juvenile Probation

Lebanon County Juvenile Probation is committed to public safety, justice for victims, the reparation of the community and the accountability and personal development of offenders with respectful treatment for all involved.

The Juvenile Intake Unit completes the initial interview with all juvenile offenders (not currently under supervision) and their parent(s). The initial intake interview is generally scheduled within two weeks of notification from the District Attorney’s Office of the following: a case will move to disposition as a result of an adjudication hearing, a consent decree has been offered, disposition of the case has be transferred from another county, a request for supervision has been made via the Interstate Compact.

Collections & Disbursement

The Payment Division assesses, adjusts, monitors and processes payments for the costs, fines, fees and restitution ordered by the Lebanon County Court of Common Pleas for Criminal, Juvenile, Summary Appeal and Courtesy Supervision cases. The Collections Division enforces the payments of those who are no longer on active county supervision, but still owe costs, fines, fees and/or restitution.  Those who are on active State supervision are also monitored by the Collections Division.​​
